Important: Sheets are larger than the mattress they cover so they can tuck under and stay anchored through movement. As a rule, a fitted sheet adds about 3 cm (1.2 in) of depth and a few cm of width/length allowance over the nominal mattress size. A duvet cover is typically larger than the duvet insert to allow for proper loft and corner tucking — use the size chart for the duvet insert, not the mattress, when ordering covers.
