Solving the Mattress Fit Problem
MildMate was founded in Thailand in 2019 after we experienced a simple but frustrating problem: standard bedding did not fit joined, oversized, or unusually shaped mattresses properly.
Instead of asking customers to adjust to standard sizes, we began designing bedding around the mattress itself—using its real dimensions, depth, and shape.
What started as a solution for one family became a made-to-order bedding system for family beds, custom mattresses, boats, RVs, and other non-standard sleep spaces.
From a Simple Problem to Custom Bedding Worldwide

Where It Started
MildMate began in Thailand after we encountered a common problem: standard fitted sheets did not fit joined, oversized, or unusually shaped mattresses properly. We started developing a made-to-measure approach based on the mattress’s actual dimensions.
A Stronger Material Standard
Our PremaCotton collection received OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification, confirming that the tested textile meets the standard’s requirements for harmful-substance testing.
Expanding Internationally
MildMate expanded its international sales through online marketplaces, making custom-fit bedding available to customers outside Thailand.

MildMate continues to improve its measurement forms, shape guides, and order-confirmation process to support a wider range of mattress sizes and non-standard shapes with greater consistency.
