General Care Instructions:

• Machine wash in cold or warm water (40-60°C)
• Use mild, liquid detergent without bleach or optical brighteners
• Avoid fabric softeners, which can coat fibers and reduce performance
• Tumble dry on low heat or line dry
• Remove promptly from dryer to minimize wrinkles
• Iron on low temperature if needed

Fabric-Specific Care:

BreezePlus: To maintain cooling properties, avoid high heat when washing and drying. Do not use fabric softeners as they can block the moisture-wicking channels in the fabric.

CloudSoft: Wash before first use to activate the softening technology. Each wash will make the fabric even softer. Avoid bleach and harsh detergents that can damage the special fiber structure.

PremaCotton: Can be washed in warmer water (up to 60°C) if needed for sanitizing. The natural fibers will become softer with each wash while maintaining strength.

EcoLuxe: Use eco-friendly, biodegradable detergents to maintain the fabric’s environmental benefits. Avoid high heat which can affect the plant-based fibers.

All MildMate bedding is pre-shrunk during manufacturing to minimize shrinkage after purchase. However, natural fibers may still experience some minimal shrinkage, especially after the first wash. Here’s what to expect:

• All MildMate products are designed with a slight oversize allowance to account for potential shrinkage
• Typical shrinkage is less than 3% after the first wash
• After the initial wash, further shrinkage is negligible
• To minimize shrinkage, follow our care instructions regarding water temperature and drying methods

Each fabric type has different shrinkage characteristics:

• BreezePlus: Minimal shrinkage (1-2%) due to synthetic fiber content
• CloudSoft: Low shrinkage (2-3%) with proper care
• PremaCotton: May shrink slightly more (2-4%) as it’s a natural fiber
• EcoLuxe: Low shrinkage (1-3%) with proper care
