Japanese Ryokan-Style Duvet Cover
Duvet covers generally require inserting the duvet inside and securing it with ties or buttons to prevent the filling from shifting to one side.
Often, putting on/removing duvet covers is a hassle. Many people have switched to sewn-in duvets because they don't want to deal with duvet covers.
Standard Duvet Cover
Tie a rope to the duvet insert.
Japanese duvet covers differ from regular ones as they don't require tie strings. The inner duvet can be inserted through the center opening of the cover.
Ryokan-Style Duvet Cover
However, for Japanese-style duvet covers without ties to secure the insert, the filling may shift around or bunch up in certain areas. Therefore, it's recommended to use a thinner duvet insert for lighter weight, preventing it from shifting to one side of the cover.
