Steps for Changing Bed Sheets for Patients
Changing bed sheets for bedridden patients can be challenging, so caution should be taken at each step.

2. Communicating with Patients: Inform the patient that you will change the bed sheets and ask for permission to proceed. Ensure the patient feels comfortable and at ease, and is ready to cooperate with the bed changing process.
3. Check the bed sheets : If the bedsheet is stained with urine, change both the bedsheet and mattress protector. For minor stains, changing only the bedsheet and pillowcase is sufficient.
4. Remove bed sheets. : First, remove the pillowcase from the pillow and place it aside. If there are stains, bundle up the sheets and mattress protector while removing them, avoiding contact with the clean sheets. Clean the mattress before putting on new sheets.
5. Put on the bed sheet. : Have the patient roll to one side of the bed. Place the rolled sheet in the middle of the mattress, then unfold it toward the empty side.
Then have the patient turn to the other side, lying on the folded sheet in the middle, and unfold the remaining half of the sheet to the other side.

6. Clean : Collect used bedsheets and bedding for washing. Clean the area around the bed thoroughly.
